Two seasons as a Liverpool player have created a special and unique bond for Alisson Becker.

The Brazilian goalkeeper can now add a Premier League winner's medal to his enviable haul of honours since arriving from AS Roma in July 2018.

Having made memories to last a lifetime in a Liverpool shirt, Alisson has spoken of his emotional attachment to the club that made his dreams become reality.

"At this moment it means everything," he told bpnmmdcx.com in an extended interview for our Champions series. "The biggest part of my achievements in football I achieved for this club, through this club, individual and my teammates, so it means a lot to me and my family.

"Since we arrived here we could feel that it's a different club, a club who treats you as a family and can give you all the support that you need to play football, to stay focused on playing football。

北京赛车pk10投注"So, we are comfortable here. We love being here. We also love the warmth that we receive from the supporters, they are part of this family as well."

In addition to the trophies won as a squad, Alisson's displays over the past two years have seen him collect a host of individual accolades, too。

He claimed the prestigious Yachine Trophy in December 2019 on the back of winning the Champions League Goalkeeper of the Season and Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper awards.

Speaking about his own personal development on Merseyside, the shot-stopper said: "I believe that I didn't become the best goalkeeper in the world last season.

"Obviously because all of my life what I did from [when I was] 10 years old, I always tried to work hard to achieve great things。 I set my goals and I go for it。

"Obviously I grew a lot here with this club with the possibility that the club gives you to win big things and to be the best you can。

"You have to win the big things, the big championships – as the Champions League and the Premier League now.

北京赛车pk10投注"So this is something that changed coming here to Liverpool, but my mentality was always to be the best。 Receiving the awards or not, I always work to be the best。"

Alisson's all-round ability as a goalkeeper was in full view during Liverpool's Premier League encounter with Manchester United at Anfield back in January.

Keeping United at bay for 90 minutes, the 27-year-old then displayed his excellent distribution to provide the assist for Mohamed Salah's unforgettable clincher and the celebrations that followed.

北京赛车pk10投注"That was a big moment。 For my whole life everybody will remember that goal, that assist," Alisson reflected。 "I think the run, they remember more about the run! That is something that I never did before。 I always like to celebrate with myself。

"I try to stay focused on the game and I know that was the last minute of the game. Then the game was closed with that goal. I just felt from inside and I couldn't hold myself any longer and then I just ran to celebrate together.

"I don't know if this has something to do with it, but the day before I saw the Pepe Reina celebration. I don't know if that was there on my mind, but I just felt it burning from inside and then I just ran and celebrated. It was something great."
